This is a busy practice with an immediate need for another provider.
Full Time, Monday thru Friday.
No on call.
The new provider will utilize a competitive production-based compensation model.
Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, 401K, CME allowance.
The Physician Associate would work independently and with a team of other providers to meet the needs specific to our patient population.
You will be expected to see patients from all age ranges and be able to accurately diagnose and treat all varieties of skin conditions.
Dermatology experience preferred.
Independent duties would include:
Screen patients to determine need for medical attention.
Review patient records.
Take a patient history.
Perform a physical examination.
Order and interpret appropriate laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
Identify normal and abnormal findings on history, physical examination and commonly performed laboratory studies.
Diagnose, manage, and treat necessary dermatologic conditions.
Perform clinically necessary procedures.
-These procedures may include:
cryotherapy; viral, bacterial, and fungal cultures; KOH preparations; suturing; shave biopsy, punch biopsy, incisional biopsy; excisional biopsy; wide local excision, electrodessication and curettage; electrocautery; acne surgery; incision and drainage.
Graduate from an accredited PA Program.
Current NCCPA certification.
Current Oklahoma medical license (or able to acquire) 2 years dermatology experience preferred.
