As a pest control sales professional technician you'll be working largely independently.
You'll travel in a company provided vehicle to client locations to provide pest control services and resolve pest issues.
We service residential, commercial and apartments.
As a pest control pest control sales professional you will take your company vehicle home and start and end at your home.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a service-related field required.
Proven sales ability including creative lead generation, networking, analysis, and closing skills required.
Prior experience establishing professional relationships with customers required.
Knowledge of entomology and/or pest/termite elimination and prevention preferred.
Good diagnostic skills required.
Strong numerical aptitude required.
Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
Must exhibit a professional image, outgoing personality, initiative, creativity, confidence, and the ability/desire to make cold calls.
Good organizational/time management skills required.
Computer proficiency required.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet company driving standards.
Must possess desire and ability to work with and around pests, termites, and rodents.
Using available marketing tools, create and implement an aggressive sales plan to solicit new customers and conduct inspections of pest-related needs.
Continually seek out new ways to secure business and increase revenues.
Analyze new territories/markets for potential business.
Become involved in community events or clubs that provide opportunities to promote the company's business.
Follow up with all creative leads and house calls.
Provide information, details, and facts that help educate the consumer and establish the need for service.
Maintain or exceed all sales goals.
Conduct detailed and thorough inspections of buildings and related structures to determine the need for pest or termite prevention/elimination services.
Inspect and verify beyond what may have been requested/reported by the consumer.
Research information, when necessary, to verify pest-related problems and to identify specific solution(s).
Continually build relationships with customers and, at all times, promote excellent customer service, quality, integrity, and professionalism.
Prepare contracts accurately.
Explain all service terms and conditions to customer.
Ensure he/she has a complete understanding.
Meet with customers after the sale, when necessary, to promote strong customer relations and to develop additional sales/referrals.
Stay abreast of competitive challenges, pricing, and new products.
Communicate knowledge and awareness to management and help plan for response to market changes.
Provide feedback on marketing and promotional tools.
Offer recommendations, when necessary.
Attend all required meetings.
Complete required sales records, reports, graphs, charts, contracts, or others, in accordance with company procedures and state/federal regulations.
Stay abreast of current industry trends, regulations, technical data, new products, safety standards, construction materials, and equipment.
Maintain compliance with all company and state/federal safety standards, regulations, equipment, and procedures.
Inform management of any customer issues or concerns that are not completely resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.
Maintain up-to-date company and state/federal licensing.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Typical Physical and Mental Demands Requires constant (67%-100%) travel throughout the community.
Requires constant walking; climbing; crawling in small, hot, enclosed areas such as attics; bending; kneeling; pushing; pulling; stooping; reaching; and stretching.
Requires frequent (34%-66%) lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
Must possess ability to climb heights and withstand heat during hot summers when inspecting outdoors and in attics.
Ability to communicate clearly required.
Must possess physical ability and stamina to perform routine outdoor inspections.
Must possess ability to work with and around bugs, rodents, termites, and related industry chemicals, baits, and traps.
Typical Working Conditions Constant contact with customers.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, with exposure to all weather elements.
Work may be performed in areas with elevated temperatures, such as attics or crawl spaces.
Exposure to pest and termite prevention/elimination products, chemicals, baits, and traps.
Work involves continual use of industry equipment, materials, and products.
Work involves daily travel.
Special Equipment Must possess general knowledge of office machines and equipment including, but not limited to, computers, printers, electric typewriter, calculator, multi-line phone system, copier, and facsimile machine.
Must possess ability to operate carpenter's tools, power tools, ladders, and other inspection equipment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
