JOB SUMMARYThis position provides technology service and support at an engineering level to elevate the reliability, stability, security, and performance of the corporate network and security environment in leveraging efficiencies for Credit Union personnel through use of computing technologies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage network and security for the day-to-day operations.
Implement and maintain new and existing technologies.
Create technology proposals.
Manage and maintain network and security as it pertains to areas responsible.
Lead employees and assist their personal growth so they become increasingly valuable in their current and future positions.
Effectively lead project teams to assist with reaching credit union goals.
Schedule and lead meetings with direct report employees to keep projects and communications effective.
Coordinate and manage patch, change, asset management and testing of such upgrades.
Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of technology products.
Promote electronic credit union communications by maintaining systems functions.
Research and implement best-in-class technologies to stay current.
Maintain schematics of network and security systems to ensure proper configurations.
Oversee monitoring and management of internal/external network and security technologies.
Create and update network and security policies and procedures.
Lead and coach employees on fulfilling service promises.
Evaluate and write annual performance appraisals for staff.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Knowledge of:

Five to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experienceA four-year college degreeCISM, CISSP, CCSP, MCSE, ITIL certifications preferredREQUIREMENTSRegular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position.
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a significant period of time and perform functions that require manual dexterity.
The employee must occasionally reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend, and carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
A normal range of hearing, vision, and speech are required to effectively work with co-employees and members.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & CONFIDENTIALITYFollows regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance related Policies.
This position also requires maintaining confidentiality with regard to non-public information about our members and the Credit Union.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
