Responsibilities may include:
Contributing to an active R&D program on developing novel materials and advanced architectures for solid oxide fuel cells
Fabricating industry-size solid oxide fuel cells and performing electrochemical testing and characterization using structure-sensitive analytical tools
Providing consulting and technical expertise to solve HSE and process problems associated with ceramic fabrication
Interfacing with business development and other Technology groups
Basic/Required:
PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline
3 or more years working on solid oxide fuel cells in an industrial environment
7 or more years of ceramic fabrication experience,
Independent research capability and hands-on laboratory skills
Technical proficiency and expert knowledge in high temperature oxide materials and electrochemistry; evidenced by a review of accomplishments, publications, and patents.
Preferred:
Highly developed understanding of basic laboratory safety principles and engagement in company-wide safety programs, including, but not limited to, basic hazard reviews, development of standard operating procedures, and behavioral-based safety observation programs.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal and team-working ability

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
