Description:
Oversee truck freight payment process to ensure payments to service partners (carriers) are made accurately and within the correct timeframe as defined in negotiated P66 contracts.

Responsibilities may include:
Audit individual truck freight charges, determine corrective actions, and approve payments.
Work with other members of Transportation Team to develop root cause solutions to freight payments issues.
Work with BU contacts and other members of the Transportation organization to bring established freight processes under control.
Work with internal/external business contacts to resolve discrepancies and drive standardized processes.
Identify and build processes needing attention, and participate in or lead continuous improvement activities for freight payment and supporting activities.
Participate in cross-functional teams to develop more effective solutions/processes for truck freight payment activity.
Manage duplicate payment claims process and develop corrective actions.
Educate freight processors and other members of Truck & Rail on freight payment processes and systems.
Work with SAP Team to develop transportation functionality in Phillips 66 SAP environment.
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred:
15 hours of college level accounting
Proficient (perform skill with limited assistance) in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
Proficient in verbal and written communications
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter
2 years of combined experience working with:
o Business process development / continuous improvement initiatives
o Accounting, Auditing, Accounts Payable / Receivables
Understanding of rail terminology and practices
1 years of SAP experience in the FI, MM, or SD modules
Knowledge of transportation acumen
